What is your rehearsal schedule? We rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings 7:30 – 9:30 at the Sonoma United Methodist Church in the town of Sonoma. Members come from all over Sonoma, Napa and Marin counties. Rehearsals for the December holiday concert begin in September; rehearsals for the Spring concert begin in January.
Do you have extra rehearsals? During the week leading up to the concert weekend we typically have a couple of extra rehearsals, which are scheduled in advance to allow singers to plan.
Do you have sectionals? We do. These are almost always held in place of the regular Thursday evening rehearsal, though individual sections have been known to hold their own sectional on another evening or weekend day.
Do you have workshops? We do. We have been privileged to have Allan Petker work with us once a season for the past couple of years. We hope to reconnect with Allan this Fall as we return to our regular rehearsals.
